4.What about your teaching methodology?

Our teaching style is active by scene imitation and role play. We actively encourage role play and the teaching process can be divided into four phases:
* Speaking first: comunication is most important for anyone who wants to suvival in China.
* Comprehension: learning new words are important for understanding the text , so vocabulary is covered first.
* Recognition: learning how to write and use the words in the textbook.
* Practice: students are encouraged to practice using the newly acquired words and sentence structures.
* Repetition: practice using your newly acquired knowledge in and outside class.

5.What are your teachers' qualifications?

We have about 20 native Chinese speaker teachers with over 2-3 years of experience (about 1000 hour) in teaching Mandarin to foreigners. Most of them graduated as Master Degree with the major of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.

6.Where do your students come from?

Our students are in a large age range of 6 to 65 from all over the world, most of them come from USA and Europe, some of them come from South-East Asia and etc. .

7.How to estimate my Chinese level?

We offer free test before the class. Students could visit our campus to take oral and written test formally with a specialist if you want, then be arranged to appropriate language level. You also can get level result through online test preliminarily by yourself.

8.Must I learn Chinese Characters?

Not really. However, the constituent element of written Chinese language is character not Pin Yin, and it will be difficult to go on studying Chinese above intermediate level if you are not acquainted with characters. So, teacher will spend some minutes to explain Chinese characters and their rules in each class, that you can identify them in the future.

9.How to choose course? And how much time to commit?

It is based on each student's study goal. Participants, who want to control basic communication skill with a command of about 1000 new words, 80 simple sentences and grammars, usually take 150 class hours to reach the level of Conversational Beginner depending on their ability. Participants, who want to compose complex sentences and paragraphs expressing personal opinion with a command of about 3000 words, 150 sentences and grammar, usually take 330 class hours to reach the level of Conversational Intermediate depending on their ability. Participants, who want to be fluency as native-speaker and express accurately, usually take 450 class hours to reach the level of Conversational Advanced depending on their ability.

10.What kinds of courses are there for students to take?
